Monkey Quest Coming Back

Free to Play Kids MMO Monkey Quest Review MMO Games 16th November 2011. It's now back as a shadow of its former self. Blizzard Discusses what to Expect from the WoW Classic Demo. The 3rd anniversary is coming to MMORPG Revelation Online and with it comes the largest content update yet: Skyward World.

Monkey Quest was an online game that released on March 17, 2011. I first started playing it when I was 6 or so. I immediately fell in love with it. But who wouldn't? The cute monkeys, the huge amount of items and weapons, the backstory, The events for Halloween, Christmas, ect. EVERYTHING. I played and played for years until I finally reached the max level, 65. I felt so proud..

  1. I understand. School stuff. I want Monkey Quest back, even though i'm a teen now.I'll still play the game. I'm so happy your creating a 'Similar' game like Monkey quest. Finally, dreams are coming true! Please don't close it down. We need Monkey Quest back.
  2. For a long time now you have closed down monkey quest, and now lots of us can't play our favorite game. I missed hanging out with friends, and fighting evil monsters. Monkey quest is the best game you have ever made. I holds a special place in my childhood, and everyone else. We're begging you to bring it back.

I then continued to play the game for a few years. Suddenly, one day, they released a 'Sneak peek' of the 'New' Monkey Quest. It had changed so much. Everything looked plastic. More things were free. Basically no need for a membership. It blew me away how much they could change something in so little time. I eventually got used to the newer version. Then not even a month later, they announced it was CLOSING. I was shocked! Honestly, the reasons I think they closed it down were because practically EVERYTHING was free, the looks were fake and plastic-like, just everything fell apart. They even changed the items and made copies of them that weren't as strong or rare. I had the original items.

They officially closed Monkey Quest on September 26th, 2014. That's it. You couldn't access your monkey, items, pets, anything. All because they randomly changed it. If you sign this petition, you will show Nickelodeon that what they have done is wrong. We want to show everyone that we want this game back! Please sign and if we get enough, I will show it to Nickelodeon. PLEASE help. Thank you! -Aly

Monkey Quest Coming Back

Ms. Zarghami,
Monkey Quest is an online game run by Nickelodeon where kids design a monkey hero and go on quests in a virtual world called Ook. Kids can play with other kids all over the world, and go on quests together. My son loves this game and Nickelodeon has done a great job making it fun and safe. However, Nickelodeon recently announced that the game will be permanently closed on September 26, 2014. If this happens, a lot of kids, including my son, will be heartbroken.
Nickelodeon, Monkey Quest is a great online game, and it doesn't require wifi to play. So much hard work went into creating this game, with its high quality graphics. Perhaps you could sell it to an online educational site such as JumpStart or ABCmouse and it would still remain available. Please make a lot of kids happy, and keep the game online.
P.S. October 1, 2014: Since I started this petition, Nickelodeon did in fact close the online game Monkey Quest. Please understand, it is more than 'just a game'. It was beautifully made, and kids got a chance to create their own monkey character, which was an extension of themselves, as they went on adventures. Naturally, they became very attached to their monkey character. To them, the loss of the gameworld and their monkey character is like a death. I have seen kids actually write poems of mourning the loss. The kids feel abandoned by Nickelodeon, who did not care enough about them to keep the game online. But you can fix this! Nickelodeon can bring back the online game, or sell it to another company like Jumpstart or ABCmouse.com, and the game can return for kids to play again.
Please look at the list of signatures, signed online at Care2's 'The Petition Site'. Kids from all over the world love the game. They interacted with other kids all over the world. I had hoped to get many more signatures, but found this difficult because most kids do not have Facebook accounts, and due to safety and privacy concerns, it was very hard to publicize the petition to children worldwide who love the game.
Please, we ask you, bring back the online game Monkey Quest. Allow kids to access the game again, with no wifi or mobile device required. If you can find a way to do this, kids all over the world will be grateful.
On behalf of myself, my son, and all those who signed the petition, as well as those who did not have a way to sign,
